Project Overview
As Broadcast Production Partner for the FIA Gran Turismo Championships, we worked with dock10, using their cutting-edge virtual studios, to produce an entire season of this epic global esport. Due to the pandemic, we were handling live feeds from up to 36 drivers, spread across the world and restricted to their own homes. Two programmes per month, each a couple of hours in duration, wrapped multiple qualifying sessions and races within expert presentation & analysis.
Polyphony Digital, the legendary creators of the Sony Playstation title, requested delivery in seven languages and it was an honour to be asked to transfer the incredible quality of Gran Turismo’s gameplay into video programming. To add even more prestige to an incredible project, we also produced the motor sport event for the very first Olympic Virtual Series (OVS).
At the culmination of the World Finals it was seven time world F1 champion Lewis Hamilton who congratulated worthy winner of the Nations Cup, Italian Valerio Gallo.
