Project Overview
Our mission was to create a range of editorially compelling content involving Liverpool & England star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is a brand Ambassador for Under Armour. After statistically analysing Trent’s performance data, it was apparent his figures stand alone in comparison to Premier League full-backs through history.
This led to a raft of ideas, including a studio programme titled Reinventing the Right-Back, where defensive legend Rio Ferdinand was able to explore what makes Trent tick and also where his ambitions for the future lie.
Given the nature of the content, studio & post production experts Dock10 were the perfect production partner for Under Armour and we utilised one of Dock10’s fantastic virtual studios to support the narrative.
The show secured a prime slot on BT Sport, directly before coverage of the Merseyside derby, and it received a warm reception from football fans and across social media.
Key Deliverables
- One-hour TV programme for BT Sport ahead of Everton v Liverpool live coverage
- Multiple short -form promotional social media clips created for Instagram, Twitter, BT Sport Website & App etc
- Worked with BBC1 Football Focus to facilitate Trent interview with presenter Dan Walker. The six-minute film was the BBC’s lead story on the opening day of the football season.
