Project Overview

Working alongside Warner Bros Discovery’s Sports’ product & technology teams to deliver a set of enhanced video player features for Web, Mobile & Connected TV platforms in time for the launch of TNT Sports in July 2023.

Key video player features included:

  • Automated Timeline & Play by Play markers for Football, Rugby & Cricket
  • Editorial Timeline & Play by Play for Cycling, UFC, Boxing & Athletics
  • Goal Alerts
  • Multicam

TNT Sports rights include UEFA European Competitions (Champions Leaue, Europa League and Europa Conference League), Premier League, Premiership Rugby, European Rugby & Moto GP.

Key Deliverables

  • Programme management for the Sports Data Experience workstream covering:
    • Back End feed development
    • Front End development team for video player overlays
    • Integration of 3rd party data providers
  • Product management for the back end feed development team
